Jimmie was a year ahead of us but married Sandra Royal who was a member of our Class of 1963. Athough Jimmie was a little older, he was still a big part of our Harlandale community of friends.

James “Jim” Russell Tabor, Sr. of Blanco, TX passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Houston, TX. Jim was born May 23, 1944 in San Antonio, TX to Russell John Tabor and Constance Mae (Kelley) Tabor.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Tommy Tabor. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandee (Royal) Tabor; sons, Russell “Rusty” Tabor and wife Mary (Graham) Tabor, and Jason “Toby” Tabor; brothers, Danny Tabor, and Patrick Tabor and wife Arlene; and six grandchildren, Ryder, Jack, Ella, Hailey, Joslyn, and Reid, Jr.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, April 8, 2022 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Funeral services honoring Jim’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Blanco United Methodist Church with Pastor Carlos Cloyd officiating, 61 Pecan St., Blanco, TX 78606. Interment will follow in Mt. Sharp Cemetery near Wimberley, TX.
